“Candle Light Your Community and Peace It Together”
You are invited to two of the annual Peace December events taking place in the Bronx during the first week.
THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2017, 4:00-7:00PM @ Lehman College, East Dining Room, in the Music Building.
From Brexit to the election of political leaders who espoused divisive rhetoric, people from across the world have been on adrenalin as to what is going to happen next. Isolationism, fascism, anti-Semitism, sexism, racism and other ‘isims’ have eroded the fabrics of peace that have been holding communities for centuries. However, as the Peace December organizers approach the annual candle lighting ceremonies across the world on November 30, we are calling all peace-loving people across New York and beyond to candle light your community and peace it together.
In the Bronx, The City University of New York, Lehman College, has partnered with Peace December International to host the 7th annual candle lighting ceremony and peace our divisions together. Come join the movement and let us peace the divided world together. Fascism must have no place on this part of history, peace is the only way!
Renowned speakers, honorary youth diplomats, clergy and peace activists will be speaking at Lehman College and other gatherings where global communities will be ‘peacing’ it together. Please let us know what your community is doing, and our media team will integrate your activity into a series of events to roll back fascism that is plaguing modern history.

SECOND ANNUAL ‘NATIONAL PUBLIC SAFETY HONOR DAY’
1. Honored Grand Marshall, Hon. Darcel Clark, Bronx District Attorney (invited).
2. Mr. Muhammad Mujumder, Parkchester Jame Masjid (confirmed).
The two most powerful words from the heart in the English language are ‘THANK YOU’, and none deserves our 'thank you' more-so than the men and women who leave their homes and loved ones 24/7 to protect our homes and loved ones 24/7.
Therefore on Tuesday, December 5, 2017, Peace December International is humbly encouraging the public to show their love to all of our brave angels for keeping us, our loved ones, our dignity and possessions safe 24/7.
The public can say ‘THANK YOU’ in many ways. They can gift flowers/roses, appreciation letters, handshakes, appropriate gifts; as well as messages of appreciation through drawings, painting, media appearances, social media, and telephone calls, etc...
So please let your local law enforcement community and those providing public safety know how much you appreciate their sacrifices and professional services. This would go a long way in cementing a healthier collaboration and greater mutually beneficial working relations.
We encourage schools, celebrities, the media, entertainers and sports figures, religious and political leaders to take the lead on this noble relationship building initiative. There is no better time to say ‘thank you’ than a genuine time.
Peace December Headquarters will hold its second Appreciation Walk to its home precinct, the 43rd Precinct, from Parkchester number 6 train station starting at 12:00 PM.
There will be a brief press conference in front of 43rd Precinct at the end of the walk and after handing their heartfelt ‘Thank You’ flowers and roses to their Commanding Officer.
Peace December members belonging in other precincts, boroughs and towns would do likewise for their respective public safety communities.

“We love to worship celebrities yet avoid being there for them in their early lives struggles. People usually live up to our expectations. When we treat our youth as upcoming dignitaries early in their lives most of them would become as such, vice versa. Kids from resourceful backgrounds are trained early on in etiquettes and leadership values. Therefore these monthly receptions are not only inspirational but destiny setters as well. We can invest in preparation and prevention or spend on reactions crimes, violence and destruction. Local business partners underwriting these monthly receptions get customized stickers prominently displayed on their premise to help ward off robbers and young gang members hanging out or destroying their products. ” Sheikh Musa Drammeh.Find out more »
